Two Chinese nationals have been arrested for allegedly stealing gold jewellery worth BD50,000 from a residence in the Southern Governorate.
The Interior Ministry's General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science promptly initiated an investigation after receiving a report. "Through the diligent gathering of evidence and information, the suspects were identified and subsequently arrested as they attempted to leave Bahrain International Airport with some of the stolen items," the directorate said in a statement.
The Ministry confirmed that all appropriate legal procedures were observed, and the suspects have been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
