The Bahrain Embassy in the US hosted a reception marking National Day, the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad’s accession to the throne and the accompanying national events.
The event was attended by Bahraini Ambassador to the US Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, along with officials, diplomats and representatives from the US House of Representatives and Senate.
In his remarks, Shaikh Abdulla extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the King and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Ambassador noted that the celebration reflects Bahrain’s approach to building bridges and strengthening ties between peoples, cultures and sectors.
He highlighted the depth of the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, underscored by key agreements, including the Free Trade Agreement, the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), the resumption of direct Gulf Air flights between Bahrain and New York, and advanced co-operation in education, digital innovation, artificial intelligence and healthcare.
He affirmed that the enduring and evolving bilateral relationship is founded on trust, shared values and a common vision for a more stable, prosperous, and interconnected future.
