His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, has commended the advancement of the kingdom’s security system across various levels, and its readiness and effectiveness in supporting the kingdom’s comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad.
This came as he yesterday met Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and several senior officers and employees of the ministry, at Gudaibiya Palace – marking Bahrain Police Day.
He expressed his pride in the tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of the ministry’s personnel, particularly the Bahrain Police, in carrying out their national duties to safeguard the kingdom’s security and its institutions.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised that the kingdom’s wide-ranging achievements are based on comprehensive national efforts, supported by a robust and integrated security system.
He also reflected on the sacrifices of fallen servicemen in the service of their country, which are etched into the kingdom’s history to inspire future generations and to remember their sacrifice.
HRH Prince Salman expressed his appreciation to all ministry personnel, led by General Shaikh Rashid, emphasising that their efforts continue to enhance community security and improve the quality of services provided to citizens and residents, in line with the kingdom’s aspirations.
He wished the ministry and all its employees continued success in their patriotic endeavours.
He emphasised the importance of continuing to implement the latest technologies and policing practices to enhance security, uphold the law, and strengthen the values of justice.
General Shaikh Rashid expressed his gratitude for the royal trust, which “has enhanced the Bahrain Police’s role in safeguarding security”.
He also conveyed his appreciation for HRH Prince Salman’s continued support and directives guiding the ministry’s future projects to strengthen the security system and enhance its overall capabilities.
He affirmed that the royal support for the ministry’s personnel is appreciated, and that his efforts to enhance the ministry’s efficiency continue to drive its development.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
