Claw BBQ, the renowned American Southern-style BBQ grill and crabshack concept, has officially opened at Hilton Bahrain, occupying a prime location on the hotel’s 44th floor in Juffair.
Marking the brand’s latest expansion, the launch kicked off with a lively parade led by Bahrain Bikers, who rode through Juffair, Manama, and Adliya, proudly flying the flags of CLAW BBQ and Hilton Bahrain, setting the tone for a bold and energetic debut.
Celebrations continued at the hotel, where guests were treated to an electrifying performance from Bahrain skaters, alongside a generous showcase of classic American favourites.
Highlights included fried pickles, burgers, wings, seafood platters featuring shrimp, mussels and king crab, as well as the brand’s signature tableside guacamole.
Hilton Bahrain general manager Tamer Farouk, who played a key role in bringing the iconic restaurant to the kingdom, noted that CLAW BBQ has been a success everywhere it has opened.
“I witnessed that success personally in my former hotel in Qatar,” he said. “We wanted to introduce something that truly stands out in Bahrain’s dining scene, and CLAW BBQ does exactly that.”
Following its global success across major cities, CLAW BBQ brings its signature Southern-American barbecue and crabshack experience to Bahrain, combining slow-smoked meats, indulgent comfort food, and a vibrant, high-energy atmosphere.
The experience is further elevated by a fun, casual setting, complete with billiards tables, arcade-style games such as foosball, pinball and air hockey and large sports screens and a panoramic skyline across Manama.

Sharing what makes the concept unique for the local market, Brands Development group director Alain Khayat said that the restaurant delivers the full Southern-American barbecue experience paired with a level of casual entertainment rarely seen in the kingdom.
“Live, upbeat music, skyline views, American dive-bar energy, massive sports screens all come together to create a vibe Bahrain hasn’t quite experienced before, especially at this height,” he said.
“The mix of barbecue, seafood, oversized American comfort food, indulgent milkshakes and signature beverages is something entirely new for the local scene.
“Nothing at CLAW is subtle – the portions, flavours, personality, even the energy of the servers. It’s bold, loud, and very American, and it’s arriving in Bahrain at scale.”
Since its debut in Dubai in 2013, CLAW BBQ has become a regional success story, expanding across the GCC and earning multiple awards, including its recent recognition as Favourite North American and Caribbean Restaurant at a leisure magazine’s dining awards ceremony.
The Bahrain opening marks the brand’s latest expansion, with additional locations expected to be announced soon.
It is now open from Sunday to Thursday from 4pm to 3am, and Friday to Saturday from noon to 3am.
