Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari yesterday received Bahrain’s Ambassador Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed Abdulqader.
President Zardari conveyed his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and extended his congratulations to Bahrain on the occasion of its National Day celebrations and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne.
He also wished the kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
The president praised the strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, rooted in shared values and mutual interests.
President Zardari welcomed the positive outcomes of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s recent official visit to Bahrain, which contributed to further strengthening bilateral co-operation.
Ambassador Abdulqader conveyed the greetings of His Majesty and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to President Zardari, along with their best wishes for Pakistan and its people.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance co-operation across various fields in support of mutual interests.
