The fourth edition of the Muharraq Nights festival continues to present a programme combining educational and entertainment activities, coinciding with Celebrate Bahrain 2025.
Events are held across the historic streets and alleys of Muharraq, extending along the Pearling Path, and targeting families and visitors of all ages.
The festival places particular focus on children’s activities, with designated spaces hosting educational, artistic, and handicraft workshops, alongside interactive, entertainment, and musical experiences aimed at developing creative skills through hands-on learning.
Children’s initiatives include ‘Fatima Story and Dollhouse’ at Al Ghus House, offering interactive storytelling, and the Hoopa: Heroes Adventure Hall play space at Badr Ghulum House and Turabi House.
Jehan Saleh Studio is providing drawing and colouring sessions at Al Sabt Building, while Sophia Bookstore is offering educational programmes for children of different age groups. Asian Paints Berger has allocated an open creative space in front of Fakhro House, in addition to a creative area at the Pearling Path Visitor Centre hosting a range of supervised artistic and handicraft activities.
Family-oriented activities include multiple food and tasting stations, with cafés and kiosks operating daily along the route from Bu Maher Fort to Siyadi Complex, offering Bahraini and international cuisine.
Dining experiences are also available inside several heritage houses.
The programme is complemented by daily schedules featuring live music performances, artistic and craft activities, markets, tasting experiences, and family tours introducing visitors to historic houses along the Pearling Path.
Muharraq Nights continues daily until December 30. Activities run from Sunday to Wednesday from 5pm to 10pm, and from Thursday to Saturday from 5pm to midnight. Details of activities requiring prior registration are available through the festival’s daily programme on the Pearling Path website and the social media accounts of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and the Pearling Path.
