His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Baddah Al Mutairi, during his visit to the kingdom.
Minister Al Mutairi conveyed to His Majesty the greetings and appreciation of the Amir of Kuwait, Shaikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, along with his best wishes for continued progress and advancement of Bahrain and its people.
His Majesty, in turn, asked the minister to convey his greetings to Shaikh Meshal, and his sincere wishes to Kuwait and its people for further prosperity and development.
His Majesty highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Kuwait and their ongoing development of close co-operation and joint action, particularly in the media, cultural and youth domains, in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their peoples.
His Majesty emphasised the shared keenness to further strengthen and consolidate these ties.
He commended the significant role played by the Amir of Kuwait in supporting and strengthening Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations across all domains.
The minister expressed gratitude to His Majesty for the warm reception and generous hospitality.
He also expressed his pride in His Majesty’s role and efforts in consolidating relations between the two countries and strengthening close bonds between their peoples.
