Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani yesterday received Palestinian Ambassador to Britain Husam Zomlot, in the presence of Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UK Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
Discussions reviewed the close relations between Bahrain and Palestine, founded on mutual respect and co-operation, and the continued development of ties across various domains.
The meeting also explored means to further advance relations in support of shared interests.
The meeting addressed regional developments, the situation in the Gaza Strip, efforts to strengthen regional security and stability, and initiatives aimed at advancing peace in the region.
The meeting was also attended by Palestinian Ambassador Aref Yousef Saleh.
