His Majesty King Hamad yesterday issued a decree amending certain provisions of an earlier one regarding the restructuring of the executive authority of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE), based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
According to the decree, the texts of items (2) and (3) of Article (I) of Decree (78) of 2021 regarding the restructuring of the SCE executive authority shall be replaced with the following:
Article (I) – Items (2) and (3):
2. Mohammed bin Zayed Natural Reserve Directorate.
3. Natural Reserves Affairs Directorate.
The SCE president shall implement this decree and shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
