Members of Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) visited the Bahraini Farmers Market and reviewed the diversity of national agricultural produce.
They toured different sections of the market, engaged with farmers and discussed ways of enhancing local production and addressing agricultural challenges.
Members also took part in awareness activities designed to encourage market visitors to purchase Bahraini products.
BRCS Youth and Young Committee chairperson and Environmental and Agricultural Team head Nilofer Jahromi emphasised that the society’s role includes the implementation of initiatives that support the sustainability of the agricultural sector.
“BRCS serves as a strategic partner in advancing the agricultural sector, with the society placing emphasis on training and qualifying underprivileged families to engage in agriculture as a sustainable source of income,” said Mr Jahromi.
