HIS Majesty King Hamad has highlighted the role of the United States in maintaining regional security and promoting global peace.
The King commended the efforts of President Donald Trump to advance peace in the region and worldwide during a meeting with a delegation of members of the United States Congress, headed by Senator Markwayne Mullin, member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
His Majesty reviewed with the delegation the development of the long-standing historic relations between the two countries.
He affirmed Bahrain’s pride in its strategic relations and strong partnership with the US.
His Majesty commended the efforts of the US Naval Forces Central Command in maintaining maritime security and protecting international navigation in the region.
He praised the role of the American community in Bahrain and its contributions to various areas of development.
The US Congress delegation expressed its appreciation to His Majesty for his commitment to further consolidating the historic partnership.
