Civil Defence successfully evacuated residents from a multi-storey residential building in Riffa after a fire broke out in one of the apartments yesterday.
The blaze was extinguished without any reported injuries, the Interior Ministry said in a statement on X.
Preliminary investigations suggest the fire was caused by ‘high pressure in an electrical conductor’, it added.
