Bahrain is committed to creating quality opportunities for citizens, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has said.
This reflects His Majesty King Hamad’s emphasis that citizens are central to the kingdom’s development, HRH Prince Salman said when he met Labour and Legal Affairs Minister Yousif Khalaf alongside several Labour Ministry officials at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
He expressed his gratitude to the Labour Ministry for its tireless efforts in implementing government programmes that aim to create jobs for Bahrainis.
HRH Prince Salman commended the efforts of all those involved in implementing the directives issued to the ministry to provide three opportunities to registered job-seekers before the end of 2025.
He noted that a total of three opportunities were presented to 18,657 job-seekers, exceeding the target set, with 4,746 citizens employed through the initiative to date. He commended the private sector’s co-operation in this regard.
Yesterday’s Cabinet session also reviewed the progress on the implementation of the jobs directives. The initiative aligns with the King’s ambitious vision to offer employment opportunities for Bahraini citizens, it noted.
Mr Khalaf expressed his appreciation to HRH Prince Salman for his continued commitment to supporting the kingdom and its citizens.
The minister affirmed his commitment to continuing to achieve the kingdom’s wide-ranging aspirations, contributing to Bahrain’s advancement and prosperity.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad Al Malki were present.
