His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, today met with Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper II, the Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) and an accompanying delegation, on his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.
HRH highlighted the strength of the historic relations between Bahrain and the United States, which continues to develop across various sectors.
HRH affirmed the importance of advancing the bilateral partnership across various fields, particularly within military and defence. His Royal Highness stressed the strategic importance of furthering existing collaboration and agreements, particularly the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (CSIPA).
The latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest, were also discussed in the meeting.
The Minister of Interior, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki also attended the meeting.
