The first copy of a brand new elective course book, Gaming 100, has been officially revealed by Education Minister Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma on his personal Instagram page.
The course, in English, is set for secondary school students starting from the second semester.
Dr Juma confirmed that Gaming 100 will be offered as an elective in government high schools, with private schools also able to adopt it as part of their curriculum.
The new course will focus on the evolution of video games starting with Atari, advancements in the gaming industry, programming video games, besides highlighting potential game programming careers.
