His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has accepted an invitation from Donald Trump, President of the United States, to join the Board of Peace, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Kingdom of Bahrain’s decision reflects its commitment to support the full implementation of President Trump’s 20-point peace plan for the Gaza Strip, considering the importance of the plan for protecting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
The ministry also expressed His Majesty the King’s appreciation for the US President’s efforts to achieve sustainable peace in the region and the world.
It expressed hope the Board of Peace will achieve its goals of promoting cooperation, supporting stability, and achieving development and prosperity for all.
