Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) chairman Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, met Grand Imam of Al Azhar Dr Ahmed Al Tayyeb in Cairo.
Shaikh Abdulrahman expressed the SCIA’s pride in its longstanding relations with Al Azhar and the Grand Imam, commending his efforts to spread tolerance, moderation and coexistence.
They discussed Islamic issues and the Second Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference, scheduled to be held in Egypt on April 1-2.
