HILAL Technology hosted a focused industry session highlighting the latest advancements in cyber resilience and data protection in collaboration with Commvault in an event held at Crowne Plaza Bahrain, Manama.
The event brought together IT decision-makers and technology professionals to gain strategic and technical insights into strengthening organisational readiness against cyber threats.
Last year companies and services suffered at the hands of global cyber attacks and ransonwear threats, as well as backup management challenges. Speaking at the event, Hilal Technology director Roshan George said: “Today we are tying up with world-renowned vendor Commvault and making a difference to people across the world.”
The session commenced with a keynote address by Hilal Technology manager Rajesh Kaul, who set the tone by emphasising the growing importance of cyber resilience as a core component of modern IT strategies.
This was followed by a presentation from Commvault Bahrain country manager Nizar Elfarra, who introduced Commvault, outlining the company’s global presence, vision and the expertise of its regional team supporting customers across diverse industries.
Commvault Saudi Arabia sales engineer Bilal Ghafoor then delivered an in-depth session on ‘Unlocking Cyber Resilience with Commvault,’ demonstrating how organisations can protect, recover and secure critical data across complex hybrid environments. His presentation highlighted Commvault’s comprehensive approach to data protection and rapid recovery in the face of cyber incidents.
The event concluded with a technical deep dive by Commvault Bahrain principal sales engineer Scott Robertson, who showcased Commvault’s key technologies. This included Active Directory Forest Recovery, underscoring the ability to rapidly restore identity infrastructure, as well as Commvault’s cloud capabilities. Attendees gained insights into Commvault SaaS, Cloud Rewind for rapid cloud workload recovery and Clumio for secure, scalable cloud-native data protection.
Overall, the event reinforced Hilal Technology and Commvault’s joint commitment to enabling organisations with robust, resilient and future-ready cybersecurity and data management solutions, the organisers said.
