Ombuds Office Secretary-General Ghada Hameed Habib yesterday met United States Deputy Chief of Mission Elizabeth Litchfield.
They reviewed areas of co-operation related to technical support and advanced training programmes, including the organisation of specialised activities aimed at skills development and the application of international standards within institutional work frameworks.
The meeting was attended by International Cooperation and Development Directorate director Shaikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa.
The two sides emphasised the importance of maintaining co-ordination to support national capacity development through the use of professional and standards-based expertise from partner US institutions.
