Akhbar Al Khaleej (AAK), Bahrain’s leading Arabic newspaper, is celebrating its 50th anniversary by including a reprint of its inaugural edition with today's issue. The historic first edition was originally released on February 1, 1976.
The debut edition featured a front-page letter from its chief editor at the time, Mahmood Al Mardi.
The newspaper went on to become one of the most prominent media voices in Bahrain.
