On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday attended the closing ceremony of the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship, which was held at the Royal Golf Club.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed that Bahrain’s successes in hosting international championships are due to His Majesty’s unwavering support and the relentless efforts of the national workforce.
He also attended part of the closing ceremony of the championship, during which he presented the trophy to the winner, Freddy Schott of Germany, and the second-place trophy to Calum Hill of Scotland.
The championship featured the participation of an elite field of 138 players representing 28 countries.
