His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, who were accompanied by deputies and members of both councils, at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH emphasised the achievements of Team Bahrain across various sectors, supported by His Majesty King Hamad, reflecting their dedication towards the Kingdom’s continued progress.
He set out the importance of cooperation between the Executive and Legislative branches in implementing government plans and programmes to serve the Kingdom and its citizens.
HRH commended the efforts of the members of the Legislative branch in driving forward efforts to meet the needs and aspirations of citizens across the Kingdom.
He also affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to advancing measures across diverse development sectors, while enhancing services and programmes that place citizens at the core of development.
He noted the Kingdom’s commitment to adopting policies and implementing plans and programmes to advance the national economy for the benefit of all.
He reiterated that providing high-quality opportunities for citizens is pivotal in delivering on the Kingdom’s priorities, including through utilising resources to empower Bahrainis to strengthen the Kingdom’s development.
For their part, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council expressed their gratitude and appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his unwavering commitment to strengthening cooperation between the Kingdom’s executive and legislative branches, in support of achieving Bahrain’s desired goals and ensuring prosperity for all.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
