One of Bahrain’s top luxury hospitality destinations celebrated its first anniversary on January 29 with a variety of programmes and packages for loyal guests.
Hawar Resort by Mantis marked a year since its establishment in the kingdom, with the milestone coinciding with the resort’s participation in the DP World Tour Bahrain, where it showcased the island lifestyle to elite international golfers and spectators.
As part of the celebrations, the resort partnered with Japanese-inspired restaurant Mirai to host ‘The Bluefin Brunch’ at C*Salt, featuring an extraordinary whole bluefin tuna flown in from Japan, as part of an exclusive culinary experience.
To reward loyal guests, a partnership between ALL Accor and Gulf Air’s Falconflyer programme is offering members a chance to win a two-night Beach Villa stay through February 14.
The package includes full-board dining, a one-hour spa treatment, an introductory Bear Grylls Adventure Zone experience and a guided excursion to Rubud Island.
Looking ahead to the upcoming Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix and the summer season, the resort is set to launch the Hawar Explorer Club, which will provide year-round access to private island privileges and exclusive dining.
Resort interim general manager Graham Vass described the facility as a paradise and said that while the first year served as a learning curve, the team is now focused on taking the destination forward.
Meanwhile, Mantis Collection chief executive Craig Erasmus stated that the resort is a living example of how luxury, nature and sustainability can coexist, and that they remain committed to creating experiences that are authentic, responsible and deeply memorable.
