Three tourism offices have been shut down for allegedly operating without the required licences.
The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority announced yesterday that legal action has been initiated against the violators.
The authority reiterated its commitment to monitoring the sector and taking necessary legal measures, in co‑ordination with relevant government entities, whenever any breach of regulations is confirmed.
It also urged the public to engage only with licensed and trusted travel and tourism offices.
