His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) board of trustees chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that the support of His Majesty, Honorary President of the RHF, constitutes the foundation for developing and strengthening humanitarian work within Bahrain and abroad.
Shaikh Nasser noted that this support enables the RHF to provide stable and dignified living conditions for its beneficiaries, particularly children and mothers, and reflects the humanitarian approach adopted by His Majesty in supporting other countries and peoples, in line with Bahrain’s humanitarian values and close relations.
He also commended the support extended to the foundation by the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which has enabled the RHF to fulfil its humanitarian mandate and achieve its objectives.
This came as he chaired a meeting of the board of trustees of the RHF, attended by board members. He lauded the efforts of the executive management and staff in implementing humanitarian programmes and initiatives that support beneficiaries and promote their integration and active participation in society, contributing to national development.
Shaikh Nasser directed that work continue in line with the vision of His Majesty and his directives to further develop the humanitarian work system, introduce new initiatives that enhance comprehensive care for the RHF’s beneficiaries, and continue humanitarian assistance to fellow countries.
The meeting reviewed work strategies, programmes and initiatives planned for the coming year, preparations marking the foundation’s 25th anniversary, and key achievements during 2025, including humanitarian services provided locally and relief projects implemented in the Gaza Strip and Syria.
At the conclusion of the meeting, board members praised Shaikh Nasser for his leadership and close follow up of the foundation’s work in advancing humanitarian services in line with the royal vision.
