He said the BDF has consistently demonstrated high levels of readiness and responsibility in supporting peace and security, noting that this performance has strengthened Bahrain’s partnerships with regional and international allies.
The King reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to peaceful solutions and dialogue as the preferred means of addressing challenges, stressing that military action should only be considered as a last resort to protect stability and security.
His Majesty, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, made the remarks as he visited the BDF General Command on the occasion of its anniversary. He was accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.
