Youth Affairs Minister Rawan Tawfiqi chaired the final evaluation session for the teams qualifying for the last stage of the fifth edition of the national initiative, Lamea, to empower youngsters, with the participation of the evaluation committee.
The committee includes Lamea board of directors chairperson Shaikha Dhuwa bint Khalid Al Khalifa; Honeywell Regional president and member of the Saudi Leadership Society, an initiative of the Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation (MiSK), Abdulla Al Juffali; BeVentures CEO at Bapco Energies Areije Al Shakar; and Lamea General Manager Dhabya Al Rafaei.
The session began with a detailed presentation of the evaluation mechanism and the criteria used by the committee to measure the quality of the teams’ outputs.
The evaluation focused on the efficiency of using strategic foresight tools, building future scenarios and formulating flexible operational and financial strategies and plans capable of addressing different situations.
Participating teams presented their proposals to the committee, showcasing their visions and analyses regarding the future of the sectors and topics addressed in the challenge, along with potential scenarios, strategic directions and derived implementation plans, reflecting a high level of readiness to meet future requirements.
The committee discussed the outputs of the qualifying teams and deliberated on the quality of the presentations and the level of operational readiness, ahead of finalising results to be added to the outcomes of previous stages, leading to the official announcement of the fifth edition of Lamea.
