Three employees who abused their positions to steal clothing items have been sentenced to three years in prison and fined BD500 each by the High Criminal Court.
The court also ordered that all recovered items be confiscated and returned to their rightful owners.
According to the Public Prosecution, authorities received a report that the defendants had stolen clothing from shipments they were assigned to inspect.
An investigation was launched, during which prosecutors collected witness testimonies, reviewed video footage documenting the thefts, and questioned the suspects.
Following the investigation, the trio was referred to the High Criminal Court, which issued the aforementioned verdict.
