His Majesty King Hamad yesterday extended Ramadan gifts to families supported by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF).
He ordered the disbursement of the annual aid, marking Ramadan which will start next week.
His Majesty directed the foundation, under the chairmanship of his representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to oversee the disbursement of gifts to Bahraini families.
The King extended the annual helping hand to enable needy families to meet their Ramadan needs and alleviate their financial burden.
Shaikh Nasser expressed gratitude and appreciation to the King, RHF honorary president, for his paternal care and constant keenness to share with the RHF-sponsored families blessings of the holy month.
He praised the King’s keenness to ensure a dignified livelihood for all Bahrainis as well as his care and support for orphans and widows.
Shaikh Nasser affirmed that this disbursement reflects the humanitarian approach established by His Majesty in promoting the values of social solidarity that characterise Bahraini society.
RHF acting secretary-general Ibrahim Al Dosari commended His Majesty’s directive and underscored the foundation’s commitment to delivering comprehensive and high-quality services to beneficiaries in line with the King’s vision.
