The Supreme Council for Environment (SCE), in co-ordination with the Youth Affairs Ministry, organised a youth-focused workshop on innovation in waste management as part of its environmental awareness initiatives.
The event was held as part of a series of awareness workshops organised by SCE in celebration of National Environment Day, aimed at protecting the environment and encouraging innovation in waste management.
SCE chief executive officer Amna Al Rumaihi said that youth represent a fundamental pillar in supporting national environmental efforts. She highlighted the importance of investing in their ideas and creative capacities to develop innovative solutions that enhance recycling systems and environmental sustainability.
Ms Al Rumaihi added that the workshop reflects SCE’s commitment to empowering youth and strengthening partnership with the ministry, in line with the kingdom’s approach to engaging young people in environmental and development initiatives.
