Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School (BIS) recently celebrated its annual sports day with an energetic showcase of athletic talent and school spirit.
Bahrain’s celebrated badminton player and Gulf champion Adnan Ebrahim was chief guest at the event.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the torch followed by an inspiring torch relay.
Students participated in a vibrant march past, a range of track and field competitions, and a striking callisthenic display that added colour to the occasion.
The sports captain administered the oath, and the athletic meet was declared open with a symbolic balloon release representing aspiration, unity and hope.
BIS directors Himanshu and Ritu Verma congratulated the winners and commended all students for their enthusiasm and outstanding performances.
