With families across the kingdom searching for affordable weekend activities, Hadiqat Al Diyar in Diyar Al Muharraq is a lovely spot. Spanning 32,800sqm, this park offers a range of recreational activities that cater to all ages without breaking the bank.
Our visit highlighted how well-suited the park is for young families. Before hitting the play area, we set up a picnic in the designated green zones after grabbing snacks from Alosra en route. The children’s area itself is a standout feature, designed with shaded zones to protect little ones from the sun.

Our three-year-old was captivated by the equipment, enjoying the interactive bells on the main climbing structures, and she enjoyed cycling around the running loop on her bike with stabilisers. The atmosphere was buzzing, with children using the slides and swings while parents watched on.
For those looking to keep active, the park boasts a track popular with strollers and joggers, alongside outdoor gym equipment used by fitness enthusiasts of all ages.

The infrastructure is solid, featuring food trucks for refreshments, clean restrooms, green areas and ample parking. The park demonstrates a commitment to inclusivity with dedicated facilities for people of determination too.
Perhaps the most impressive aspect, however, is the price. At a fee of just 300 fils per person – with free entry for children under two – it is a cost-effective day out in Bahrain.
