The Agence France-Presse report claiming that Bahrain, in co-ordination with another Arab country, was engaged in mediation efforts to resolve the current Gulf crisis is inaccurate and not based on official information or credible sources, His Majesty King Hamad’s adviser for media affairs said.
Nabeel Al Hamer noted that all visits by senior Bahraini officials to other GCC countries are part of pre-arranged programmes.
He explained that these visits are primarily aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and advancing co-operation in areas of mutual interest.
Mr Al Hamer underscored that relations among the GCC member states remain strong and well established.
