Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Suqoor Hamad’ facilities at the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) was held yesterday.
Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and RBAF Commander Major-General Pilot Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa were present. The event coincided with the 58th anniversary of the establishment of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
Director of Military Works Major-General Abdulla Rashid Al Tamimi presented a briefing on the project. The Chief of Staff toured the facilities, reviewing various sections and equipment.
Lt-Gen Al Nuaimi noted that, under the patronage of His Majesty and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, as well as the directives of BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the BDF continues to follow a structured and methodical approach to achieve advanced levels of development and modernisation, while enhancing its branches and units with modern administrative facilities.
