Solidarity Bahrain has donated Automated External Defibrillator (AED) devices to three local football clubs – Barbar Club, Manama Club, and Isa Town Club – as part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility efforts.
The move follows a heartfelt public appeal by a Bahraini nurse after a young athlete tragically passed away during a training session last year.
Moved by the nurse’s call for better emergency preparedness, Solidarity Bahrain co-ordinated with the clubs to supply the life-saving equipment.
The gesture reflects the organisation’s commitment to supporting community wellbeing and helping prevent similar tragedies in the future.
Solidarity Bahrain Corporate Support Unit acting assistant general manager Husain Sabt said, “As a Bahraini company, we believe in standing with our community and responding to its needs. Solidarity’s role extends beyond providing insurance coverage to safeguarding lives and supporting community well-being.
“Through initiatives that enhance public safety, including equipping local sports clubs with essential life-saving equipment, we aim to help create safer environments and ensure critical assistance is available when it is needed most.”
Solidarity Bahrain – one of the largest insurance companies in the kingdom and a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding – reaffirmed its dedication to being a responsible community partner by working alongside local organisations and supporting efforts that promote public safety and wellbeing across the kingdom.
