The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has, during the celebration marking its 25th anniversary, raised BD2.4 million to support its humanitarian programmes.
Acting secretary-general Ibrahim Al Dosari said the funds would be directed towards qualitative initiatives to enhance the RHF’s social impact.
He congratulated His Majesty King Hamad, the Honorary President, on the occasion, and expressed appreciation for the government’s continued support under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Mr Al Dosari also praised the patronage and attendance of His Majesty’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and RHF board of trustees chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa at the anniversary ceremony.
He thanked partners and donors for their contributions and called on institutions to further support humanitarian initiatives that advance community development.
