Terasaki Electric and Cellmec have recently announced a strategic partnership to launch the TemPanel System, a range of premium low voltage switchgear assemblies fully-type tested to IEC 61439 and IEC TR 61641 standards.
This level of achievement is a first in Bahrain and amongst the very few in the region, the company says. The TemPanel System range consists of power control panels and fully-withdrawable intelligent motor control centres.
The TemPanel System has been evolved and developed to meet the stringent technical and operational requirements of its end users in the GCC, which includes safe operation under the harsh environmental conditions of the region.
“The proximity of Cellmec’s services and availability in the region ensures unmatched flexibility for our end users. This is the main driver for Cellmec being appointed as an original equipment manufacturer partner for Terasaki,” said a Cellmec company spokesperson.

The TemPanel System is based on dependable and fully-type tested Terasaki components which ensure superior technical performance, in terms of tripping times under the event of power system faults to protect the underlying electrical infrastructure. This combined with the flexibility of the ELEGO Modular System – developed in-house by Cellmec – future-proofs power system requirements, allowing customers to ‘plug-and-play’ any additional future changes in the load requirements.
Terasaki Electric also launched the TemBreak PRO range of smart moulded case circuit breakers and compact air circuit breakers to the Middle East. These low-voltage switchgears provide superior reliability in-terms of mechanical and electrical endurance, all whilst providing high fault interruption capabilities and compactness, experts say.
