Bahrain’s developmental ambitions are boundless, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has said.
He also expressed confidence in the national workforce which has demonstrated its ability to enhance the kingdom’s competitiveness and strengthen its leading position in various fields.
HRH Prince Salman affirmed that dedication to Bahrain is the basis for achieving national successes when he visited the majlises of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa as well as the Al Musallam and the Al Zayani families.
These successes contribute to national development, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, he said.
Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa was also present at the majlis of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted that the existing partnership between the executive and legislative branches has had a great impact on achieving many successes that have benefited the kingdom and its citizens.
He affirmed that the collective dedication of all members of Team Bahrain has advanced the goals of Bahrain’s Economic Vision, including growing the national economy more than five-fold since 2000.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also noted that the launch of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 in 2008 further accelerated this growth and supported economic diversification.
He emphasised the kingdom’s commitment to implementing various programmes to develop sectors that bolster economic growth and provide more promising opportunities by expanding employment prospects.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the ongoing provision and development of social services for citizens, and the utilisation of all national resources to meet the needs of Bahrainis.
He also exchanged Ramadan greetings with the hosts and attendees of the majlises, underscoring the importance of the holy month for Muslims.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed the kingdom’s commitment to mosques across all its governorates through its plan to open and renovate them, recognising their role in facilitating prayers and reinforcing religious values and morals within Bahraini society.
The heads of the majlises expressed their sincere gratitude for his continued commitment to engaging with Bahraini society and conveyed their wishes for the kingdom’s ongoing progress and prosperity.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa as well as senior officials were also in attendance.
