The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) is closely monitoring the Iranian attacks that have targeted the kingdom’s security and territorial integrity, posing a direct threat to the safety of both citizens and residents.
The institution underscores that the protection of the right to life, personal security, and physical safety is a fundamental right guaranteed by the national Constitution and the international human rights conventions to which Bahrain has acceded.
It stresses that any attack targeting civilians or placing them at risk constitutes a grave violation of international law.
The NIHR called upon all citizens and residents to exercise awareness and national responsibility, to fully comply with the instructions and guidelines issued by the authorities.
