His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received a telephone call from Russian President Vladimir Putin, who expressed his country’s full solidarity and support for Bahrain.
President Putin strongly condemned the Iranian attack targeting the kingdom’s territory. He affirmed the mobilisation of all the readiness and capabilities of Russia to support Bahrain in all measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty and safeguard its security and stability.
His Majesty affirmed that the people of Bahrain are peaceful and believe in tolerance and coexistence, and that the kingdom remains committed to the path of peace and supports everything that enhances security and stability in the region and the world.
His Majesty expressed his deep appreciation for the positions of Russia and the sincere sentiments of support conveyed by President Putin towards Bahrain.
