His Majesty King Hamad received a telephone call from Switzerland President Guy Parmelin.
The Swiss President expressed his country’s full solidarity with Bahrain, as well as its rejection and condemnation of the Iranian attack that targeted the kingdom’s territory. President Parmelin affirmed his country’s support for all measures taken by the kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its security and stability.
His Majesty affirmed that the people of Bahrain are peaceful and believe in tolerance and coexistence, and that the kingdom’s approach is to uphold the path of peace and support all that enhances security and stability in the region and the world.
