Interior Ministry announced that the Anti-Cybercrime Directorate at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security has identified and arrested four individuals after they posted videos related to the aftermath of the malicious Iranian aggression and expressing sympathy with it, which violates the values and principles of the kingdom.
The ministry said the individuals circulated these videos through their social media accounts, which contributes to misleading public opinion, spreading fear among citizens and residents, and harming security and public order.
Legal procedures have been taken against them, and they have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
Interior Ministry urged everyone to obtain information only from official sources and not to circulate or repost unverified videos or news to avoid legal accountability and safeguard the security and safety of the nation.
