A senior businesswoman has condemned the Iranian attacks on Bahrain and the region and further backed all measures taken by the government to protect its internal security.
Bahraini-German Friendship Association president Deema Al Haddad described the ongoing hostile actions by Tehran as a ‘blatant violation of national sovereignty and a serious threat to the security and stability of the peoples of the region’.
“Such hostile acts will not affect Bahrain’s national unity nor undermine the kingdom’s determination to uphold the principles of moderation and tolerance and to promote the values of peaceful coexistence in the region and the world,” Ms Al Haddad said.
She stressed the importance of national solidarity in strengthening Bahrain’s resilience and stability, as well as the need to rally behind the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to safeguard the nation’s achievements, protect its security and economy, reinforce the spirit of national responsibility, and reject all attempts to sow division, cast doubt, or exploit circumstances to serve external agendas.
The Association also announced its full support for the efforts of HRH Prince Salman and expressed its appreciation for the ongoing government efforts, under his leadership, to strengthen the kingdom’s security and stability, as well as his continuous follow-up on citizens’ affairs during these circumstances.
The Association praised the role and professionalism of national institutions, particularly the Bahrain Defence Force and the Interior Ministry, in confronting and dealing with all hostile Iranian threats.
