The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Defence Ministry has released dramatic footage showing its air defence systems intercepting and neutralising Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) attempting to target the country.

The ministry confirmed that all drones were tracked and destroyed before reaching their intended targets. In an accompanying statement, officials emphasised that there can be no compromise when it comes to the nation’s security and sovereignty.
