His Majesty King Hamad received a telephone call from Pakistan Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Field Marshal Munir affirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with Bahrain and its condemnation of the missile attack on Bahraini territory by Iran.
He emphasised his country’s support for Bahrain in the measures undertaken to protect its sovereignty, security, and national interests.
His Majesty affirmed that Bahrain will remain steadfast in its approach based on wisdom, moderation and the promotion of peace and co-operation with its Arab, regional and international partners, in a manner that serves the security and stability of the region.
His Majesty also expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s stance and for the solidarity and support conveyed by Field Marshal Munir.
