His Majesty King Hamad met Jordan’s King Abdullah II during his visit to Bahrain yesterday. His Majesty welcomed King Abdullah and discussed regional developments and their implications for security and stability in the region.
King Abdullah reiterated Jordan’s solidarity with Bahrain in the measures it undertakes to defend its sovereignty, security and stability, and to ensure the safety of its citizens. His Majesty also underscored Bahrain’s solidarity with Jordan in the face of Iranian attacks targeting its sovereignty and security.
His Majesty later bid farewell to King Abdullah upon his departure from Bahrain.
