One of Bahrain’s most anticipated pop culture events has been postponed until further notice due to the ongoing Iranian attacks.
This year’s Bahrain Comic Con, set to be held at the Bahrain International Circuit, will not be taking place on May 1 and 2, as originally scheduled.
“We, at Bahrain Comic Con, share in the deep disappointment surrounding this news,” the organisers said, in a statement posted on social media.
“Our team has worked tirelessly up to this moment to ensure that our fans and attendees experience the very best of what has become one of Bahrain’s most anticipated events.
“The safety of our community, fans, guests and partners is our top priority.
“While this moment is difficult, we do not see it as a loss but only a brief pause in our journey.”
