His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received a phone call from Joseph Aoun, President of the Republic of Lebanon.
During the call, President Aoun expressed Lebanon’s condemnation of the missile attacks targeting the territory of the Kingdom of Bahrain by Iran, affirming his country’s full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for the measures and actions taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security and national achievements.
The Lebanese President also strongly denounced the involvement of a terrorist cell affiliated with Lebanese Hezbollah organisation in plots aimed at undermining the Kingdom’s security and stability, reiterating Lebanon’s support for Bahrain in all measures undertaken to protect its security and preserve its stability.
For his part, His Majesty the King expressed his appreciation for the position of the Lebanese Republic and the sentiments of solidarity conveyed by President Aoun, as well as his support for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
