Oil and Environment Minister and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Dr Mohammed Bin Daina received European Union (EU) Special Representative for the Gulf Region Luigi Di Maio.
They discussed means to enhance co-operation in the energy sector.
Dr Bin Daina commended the ties between Bahrain and the EU, which are developing at various levels, particularly in energy sector co-operation and the exchange of technical expertise.
They reviewed latest developments in the energy sector, including challenges facing global energy markets, ways to enhance stability, and ensure the continuity of supplies.
They also discussed opportunities to develop co-operation in energy-related domains.
