The first groups of Bahraini pilgrims left for Saudi Arabia to perform Haj yesterday. Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister and Supreme Committee for Haj and Umrah Affairs chairman Nawaf Al Maawda was present at Bahrain International Airport to see off the pilgrims, alongside under-secretary for justice affairs Isa Al Mannai. The minister said that the care and support provided to Bahraini pilgrims reflect the continued attention of His Majesty King Hamad, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to ensure the provision of the best services and facilities that guarantee pilgrims’ comfort and safety and enable them to perform Haj with ease.
